HTC-FLYER-Review
HTC unveiled a new Android tablet HTC Flyer at the MWC 2011.The HTC Flyer features a 7 -inch capacitive multi-touch display with 1024×600 pixels resolution.Unlike the latest Android based Tablets which are powered by Android 3.0 Honeycomb the HTC Flyer is powered 2.3 version of Android a.k.a Gingerbread with HTC Sense 2.1 on it.
A 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Processor will be powering the Flyer.1 GB of RAM has been implanted which along with the 1.5 GHz processor promises to deliver lag free experience. We have 32Gb of internal storage along with a 5 MP camera in the Back and a 1.3MP camera in the front for video calling needs. The HTC Flyer supports GSM calling,WiFi. No 3G support though.Support for Flash 10.1 light and HTML 5 has been provided for immense browsing experience.
Coming to the build quality and dimensions of the HTC Flyer,it has an awesome aluminum unibody design, capacitive touch + stylus pen interactive which makes it a stand out from the crowd.Every time an application supports the stylus pen(especially the notes apps) a small icon pops up in the bottom right hand side of the screen to edit the brush types and use case.

The dimensions  of the HTC Flyer are 122mm * 13.2mm* 13.2mm  and it weighs only 420 grams (14.82 ounces) with battery. The body has been designed with curved edges to give a good grip to hold on to it.

The OS might be a let down or to say deal breaker as buyers would want to have the tablet special Honeycomb running on there Tablet, however HTC has done a great job with the OS.They’ve installed a new version of HTC sense (as they are well known to do it on all of there devices) which we have to agree, looks great.
Some of the features that the HTC Flyeroffers to tempt you to pick it over others are
HTC Sense 2.1:Beautiful looking UI with 3D Home screen and feels more user friendly.
HTC Scribe:A feature that lets u to take notes, sign contracts, draw pictures, or even write on a web page or photo which is enhanced with the stylus pen.
HTC Watch:This services guides you to online content like videos and movies and let you stream them at high speed.
and last but not the least HTC OnLive :This is something where the HTC Flyer outweighs any other tablet out there, this is a online cloud service that would let you play awesome games without the need of any hardware.

Priced around 755$ the HTC Flyer may be a little out of margin as i would probably go for the Motorola Xoom with Android 3.0 Honeycomb and bigger screen, however its a matter of taste as i personally prefer  a 10.1 Inch Tablet over 7 Inc tablet as i don’t see any advantage  in having  a 7-inch device as it is not a pocket fit so if u have to carry it in something why not carry a 3-inch bigger dual cored tablet in that same bag?
